Storms and tree damage come with the change of seasons

Summer is winding down and fall weather is rolling in. That means severe thunderstorms are more likely around the Traverse Bay community. This article from August 2015 reminds us of just how much damage these storms can bring, often with little warning.

So just a reminder if your home or near-by power lines are damaged by trees, call the fire department or your electric service provider and report it immediately. Never attempt to remove downed wires yourself and only experienced tree service companies should attempt to remove large felled trees.
